I have been following the CT Sun, the WNBA team owned by Mohegan Sun, since they arrived 10 years ago. I have loved the experience of seeing such a high level of basketball played in my own backyard. These women are "Professionals," on par with their counterparts in the NBA. It is so tired of hearing the bias and bigoted comments about the WNBA and women sports not being "real" this or that. But that is for another post, another day...
Today, I want to promote the 11th season of the CT Sun. A new rise of the Sun is expected, with new coach Anne Donavan. There is a sense of freshness in the Arena air.
